Swim ‘n Sport uses Retail Pro® Version 8 retail management/POS system, supported by International Micro Systems (IMS), a Retail Pro Business Partner. The relationship between Retail Dimensions and IMS is based on a relationship aimed at delivering the best in omni-channel unified commerce solutions. These relationships paved the way for Swim ‘n Sport to create a bridge between their new online store and their established retail stores. The result is a seamless connection between Swim ‘n Sport’s Retail Pro POS system and their Magento platform using RDi’s flagship Version 8 integration module RD8 as the dynamic link tying them together.
Swim ‘n Sport is a multi-channel business, selling not only on Magento but also through a a thriving site on Amazon where orders are fulfilled by Merchant as well as Amazon. Amazon is fed by RDi’s RPro4Amazon products, providing updates on current and upcoming product releases. RPro4Amazon also presents FBM and FBA orders in Retail Pro for returning shipped status notifications to Amazon on FBM orders.
In addition to the integration products Swim ‘n Sport also uses RDi’s full suite of warehouse tools to enhance the picking, packing, and shipping process in regard to Pickman, Packman and the shipper integration with multiple carriers. As a result, Swim ‘n Sport has made the back-end work of processing and tracking each shipment much easier for their employees and their customers.
